How Sagebrush Works Product Reviews Work

What a review can include

A review can contain ordinary Markdown text, headings, lists, tables, and links. You can also place your own product photos anywhere in the article by adding the image file to public/images/reviews/ and referencing it like this:

Affiliate links are ordinary Markdown links. For example:

[Check current price at Retailer](https://example.com/your-affiliate-link)

Keep the disclosure near the review and near the recommendations where practical.

YouTube video

Add a YouTube video ID to the article frontmatter:

youtubeId: "dQw4w9WgXcQ"

The page template automatically creates a responsive privacy-enhanced YouTube embed.

A simple review structure

  1. What I tested and why
  2. Setup and first impressions
  3. What worked well
  4. What could be better
  5. Who I think it is for
  6. Alternatives
  7. Final assessment

The URL for each review is permanent and shareable, such as:
